Villa Tribalj offers unique feeling and atmosphere thru different times of the year. Here are all adventures you can experience through all four seasons.
We have a heated private pool, measuring 8x3 meters with water filtering 24/7 for the best quality pool water all the time. it is maintained at least twice a week and it is always in perfect condition. There are inflatable beach mattress and kids pool toys provided. It is located on our sundeck terrace that is on the sun all day long until the sun sets behind the mountains.
We are happy to provide nursery kit for our little guests: a baby cot with bed linen, a baby eating chair, a Chicco sterilizer, an Avent bottle warmer, a Stokke flexi baby bath, a changing pad, toys for babies. At request, we can provide everything you might need for your baby.
On the ground floor there is a Finish sauna. It is manually controlled according to your wish. You turn it on and off and change the temperature. There are essential oils, sauna towels, bathrobes and slippers provided.
Upon your arrival you will find a welcome basket with our homemade products waiting for you: extra virgin olive oil, brandy, jams and a natural lavander soap. We also serve you a welcome drink: ice cold Valomet – the finest sparkling wine from the island of Krk - Vrbnik and apple juice for kids.
The owner will be personally available for you anytime during your stay for any wish you might have. We will do everything to fulfill all you wishes and make your holiday memorable. We can arrange the following services for you: grocery shopping, boat charter, boat excursions, chef service, catering, rent-a-car, restaurant reservation with a special treat for our guests, massage in the villa, watersports, hiking adventure with a professional guide, bike rent, bike tours with guide, big game fishing or hunting.
There are 4 bathrooms in the villa. There is one in each room and one on the ground floor. In our bathrooms there are two size towels, a large pool towel, bathrobes, slippers and a hairdryer. We offer a lavender collection of soap, a shampoo, shower gel, a body lotion, a conditioner, also a dental kit, a comb, a cosmetic set, a shower cap and a sewing kit.
In the kitchen there is an illy espresso machine. Capsules can be found in our wine bar offer with price 1 EUR per capsule. There is also a filter coffee machine with filters provided.
Open kitchen with a fireplace in the garden for grill is located next to the roofed dining area and ready for you to use. There is everything you need for barbeque, an electric pan and a natural stone sink.
LCD TV in the ground floor is connected to the internet cable TV. There are hundreds of channels with children channels, live sports, movies, music, shows, entertainment, national geographic & discovery channels, German extra package and pay-per-view movies library. There is a HI-FI sound system with loud speakers outdoors by the pool and outdoor dining area where you can also plug your mobile phone or tablet into the stereo and play your favorite charts. In each bedroom there is a 80cm LCD TV with regular international satellite channels.
In our Mediterranean garden there is a children’s playground with double swing, a large slide, a blackboard for drawings, outdoor toys and a kids table. There is also a toys box inside the villa for indoor playing and fun for children and adults games like chess, cards, jamb, darts…
On the book shelf there is our selection of natural BIO tea made of herbs handpicked in the intact nature of the Velebit mountain. We offer all kinds of natural herbs and vitality tea. There are also the finest types of black tea and green tea in our selection.
In the living room you can find a book shelve with some literature and local brochures and maps.
In the living room you can find a selection of red and wine cooler with white, rose, sweet and sparkling wines. We offer Croatian wines produced by small family wine makers from the region and of finest quality. You can also find a selection of homemade brandies made only for our guests.
There is a WiFi internet network available in all areas of the villa and the sundeck terrace.
It is a DSL connection with FLAT download option for our guests. There is a business
desk with a wired internet connection in the ground floor.
Our villa is a pet friendly home and your dog is welcome. We provide an eating bowl and a dog bed for you at request. You can also find some basic information you might need regarding your pet needs for food or veterinary station. There is a special “Dog Beach & Bar” in Crikvenica where you can take your dog to refresh and sense the Adriatic Sea.
In the living room there is a business corner with the cable Internet connection and all basic office tools next to the indoor fireplace for warm and romantic evening by the fire.

Just by being at Villa Tribalj surrounded by untouched nature, walking along the sea or hiking in the mountains, you are already doing a lot for your health, body and mind.

Be what you want to be! Come to the Rijeka Carnival! Croatia’s biggest and Europe’s third biggest carnival takes place in Rijeka, culminating in a colourful procession of thousands on the Sunday before Shrove Tuesday.
We wish you to get in the spirit of carnival craze and prepare yourself for the forthcoming unforgettable experience.

Enjoy traditional Easter breakfast with your family, let your children go on a fun search for Easter eggs in villa garden and spend a memorable Easter holiday at your holiday home. We can provide fresh eggs from free chickens in our village, the finest local homemade cooked ham, local baby lamb, fresh homegrown vegetables anything you need for perfect Easter family menu (on prior request).

Would you like to play tennis with the sense of the Adriatic Sea in the air? In Selce and Crikvenica, 7 km from the villa you can play tennis on clay courts by the sea. We can also organize tennis equipment and private tennis lessons for you anytime. There is a nice bar in natural shadow close by where you can refresh after tennis or throw yourself in the Adriatic Sea at the beach, 50 meters from the courts.

Adriatic Sea is a habitat of many big fish species, Adriatic tuna, swordfish etc. and Croatian coast is well known as one of the best fishing destinations in Europe. Beside offering an unforgettable fishing trip, you’ll enjoy crystal clean sea and great experience. The best period for Adriatic tuna fishing is from August to October. Adriatic tuna is exceptional quality and taste amazing.

Advent at Villa Tribalj is very special time. The house and outdoor dining area are fully decorated in Christmas spirit and looks adorable. Perfect for cozy week of fun by the fireplace, read a good book, enjoy a cup of tea or glass of Croatian wine from our selection or visit numerous Advent markets in the area with many events and programs for adults and kids.

In wintertime when the sea temperature is low, we have Adriatic squids (calamari) season. You can catch them from the coast or from the small boat in the canal. There are a few technics how to do it. Adriatic squids are exceptional quality. There are also many other fishes you can catch in peaceful wintertime much easily then in summer when the coast is crowded and many boats at the sea.

There are endless hiking trails and peaks to visit with the most beautiful panorama on the Adriatic Sea, islands and mountains.
We can organize for you guided hiking tours with professional GSS (official Mountain Rescue Service) member guide or you can explore and enjoy untouched nature by yourself. Hiking maps are provided at the villa.

There are many attractive diving sites in the waters of Kvarner. Hence, the number of divers returning to explore and enjoy this region increases each year.
There are a few diving centers in Crikvenica and Selce that can
organize diving school, diving trips for experience divers to explore shipwrecks and underwater world of Kvarner bay.

The uniqueness of the Tribalj Lake is its location only a few km from the sea. In such geographic position and with such climate, fishing on the lake is possible throughout the entire year. Tribalj lake well known for big carps from 15kg up to 25kg, catfish, perch, eel and others. It is “catch and release” fishing and you need a daily permit issued by locals at the lake.

Spend Christmas morning in the living room watching the mountains and share gifts with your family under the beautiful Christmas tree next to the fireplace in warm and cozy family atmosphere.
We can organize for you everything you wish (top quality food, wines, firework, decorations…) to spend incredible New Year’s Eve at Villa Tribalj.

A vegetable fit for a king, a treasure trove of health, food, medicine, and an aphrodisiac all in one are just some of the epithets used by wild asparagus aficionados to describe their fascination with the plant that has been considered a symbol of life and nature awakening in spring.
You can find them all around the villa garden in springtime for healthy, detox omelette.

There are numerous bicycle routes around the villa. You can choose the one that suits you best depending on the difficulty level and the surroundings.
You can hire professional agency tour and rent the bikes from them delivered to the villa or you can rent a e-bikes in Crikvenica center and enjoy bike rides surrounded by untouched nature and magnificent views.

There are several different ways to experience the wonderful
Kvarner bay archipelago but the most beautiful is definitely on a sailboat.
We can organize for you one sailing trip, sailing courses and kids
sailing school from marina Punat on the island Krk,
30 minutes driving from the villa (depending on availability).

Did you know that Kvarner has been declared as one of the best regionin the world for extra quality virgin olive oil production? Have you ever harvested olives and enjoyed yourself a lot? The manual work for production of extra high quality olive oil is indispensable. Within a maximum of 24 hours after harvesting, the olives must be cold pressed from which we obtain extra virgin olive oil quality.

The ski resort Platak is located 30 minutes from the villa. For skiing and snowboarding, there are 10km of slopes available on 4 lifts. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 1,100 and 1,363 m. From the slopes you have a stunning panoramic view on the Adriatic Sea, islands and mountains. Each year they update the resort and offer something new for skiers and visitors.

Just a few minutes driving from the villa is amazing fine dining restaurant “Dida” in Selce, by the sea, with the terrace in privacy and pine trees and open fireplace indoors. It is open all year round and you can enjoy incredible Croatian seafood, fish or meat courses prepared by one of the best Croatian chefs. We love this place and would be happy to make reservation for you as VIP guests.

An exceptionally rich network of 350km maintained walkways across the coastal area and the mountains attracts with its beauty and the wealth of different experiences and sights it offers. Characterized by various difficulty levels, these walkways combine the wish for being active with the natural, cultural, historical, entertainment and other amenities. Enjoyment is guaranteed!

Fly over some of the most beautiful Croatian landscapes. The valley of Vinodol is one of the most stunning paragliding sites in Europe with a view of the sea and Kvarner Bay.
Start is above the villa, on 789 meters high Mahavica.
During the flight, which takes 30 to 40 minutes, you can enjoy the view of Tribalj lake, Crikvenica, coastline, the islands and Kvarner bay.

The natural diversity of Kvarner – its coastal area and mountains that offers great possibilities for hunting. The hunting areas of Kvarner region are suitable for hunting red deer, roe deer, wild boars and brown bears. Eurasian woodcock hunting is the most attractive type of hunting tourism in the coastal area.
